Carollo Engineers ProjectWise Installation Instructions
- Please uninstall previous versions of ProjectWise Explorer. (If you need to use an older version, it will need to be re-installed into a different folder)
- Download and install 64-bit ProjectWise Explorer 23.06.03.12(1.66 GB)
- Setup the Network Configuration Settings
- You will authenticate through the installed Bentley CONNECTION Client
- If your organization is Federated with Bentley or you have registered with Bentley IMS, please use the credentials associated with your email.
- If you have not previously registered with Bentley IMS, please follow these instructions to Register Now

Network Configuration
To configure ProjectWise Explorer to connect to Carollo's ProjectWise datasources, please follow the instructions below.
- In ProjectWise Explorer go to the Tools Menu, select Network Configuration Settings...
- A new window will open with ProjectWise Network Configuration Settings
- Prevent UDP for DNS and Listing should be hard checked
- IPv6 Enabled and IPv6 Preferred should be unckecked
- Go to the DNS Services tab
- In the Name box enter "Carollo", Host/IP box enter "pwgate.carollo.com", you may leave Port blank
- Click Add
- Prevent UDP should be hard checked
- Go to the Datasource Listing tab
- In the Name box enter "Carollo", Host/IP box enter "pwgate.carollo.com", you may leave Port blank
- Click Add
- Prevent UDP should be hard checked
- Then click "Save"
- Close and re-open ProjectWise Explorer
After verifying the ProjectWise Network Configuration, if the "Carollo" datasource does not appear below "ProjectWise Explorer Datasources", please contact your IT department confirm that port TCP 5800 is allowed through your firewall.
